Backstory:
The younger of Notollya's two older brothers and co-owner of a small dust shop named "Dust Busters" (formerly "The Dusty Trail".) Saul is a complete goofball and is often seen being generally silly, that is unless it concerns his darling little sister; in which case he's as strict as Cora. When he was younger he and Notollya often quibbled but that changed after Roht (the Taijitu) attacked and injured Mauv. He became protective of his siblings, though he's arguably the weakest of them, and will always go out of the way to help them. He's also the truck driver for the store and gives JSMN discounts on merchandise (for Notollya's sake.) He's also a huge fan of the musical talents of Noirie Mavros (aka Mella's mother) and they have the same birthday.

Fun Fact:

• He earned the nickname "butterball" from Notollya when they were children and the name stuck to him like glue; however his family are the only people allowed to use it without him thinking it's an insult.

• He's actually in favor of Notollya marrying Sora and does devious little things to try and further their relationship along.
