Soras Bio

Name: Sora Aquamär

Weapon: Sora's weapon is an Dust Combat/Sniper rifle, with a retractable Naginata blade called Gale Arrow. On one side there is a telescoping barrel which allows Sora to go from ranged sniping to burst fire using the same rounds and a different output caliber to compensate for each form. The barrel also has a mode where it telescopes further but this is only applied when it is in Naginata mode. The Naginata blade is hidden in the stock and is deployed by a mechanism in the side of the gun (so it won't deploy while he's firing) and its in the form of a small lever that looks like a bolt. When the blade deploys the stock "arms" move and lock the firing mechanism (internally.) Sora is penchant for using Ice and Wind dust types.

Semblance: Winds of Truth - Much like typical aerokinesis, Sora can manipulate wind and some(for now) of its properties. He can have increased hearing due to use of air molecule vibrations. Electrical immunity by using air to insulate the current(s)*. Generate explosive and propulsive energy by using the nitrogen in the air(limited use as it will vaporize particles)*, purification of the air by removing hazardous molecules*. Also can create vacuums by removing all air molecules out of the area(can be used in set spaces such as around a blade.) The most conventional form of usage with his semblance is just creating vacuums or gusts while he fights in Naginata mode to amplify his slashes or create more. He has yet to make a larger scale of his semblance like a tornado and hasn't really attempted because he knows he'd pass out trying

Strengths: High altitudes, or places with lots of wind or fans

Weaknesses: Being in an small enclosed space indoors as that weakens its effect potential. Being in a gaseous space as the air is "tainted" and nearly unusable

Reasons for Sora's Semblance:
Sora has often viewed the ways of the world as wrong; mostly those regarding those involving the faunus. He has studied with Lydia and on his own hoping that him becoming a Huntsman and gaining power will help him to make a difference. In a sense he wants to be come the "winds of change" in the world and his semblance is representative of that

Personality: Being raised by his scatterbrained mother, Sora was initially a kind of quiet, reclusive kind of child; However this only lasted until he met Lydia Umber. Her infectious personality changed Sora to "break out if his shell" a lot. Sora also had the clingy musings of his sister and his mother to help him discover his own personality. He's a nice guy at heart and will always treat someone with kindness unless he has reason not to and also will usually be sneaking up on people if he believes he does have a reason for distrust. He's also a little snarky in certain situations and this may or may not earn him retaliation from his teammates. Sora is also a bit of a womanizer and flirts with mainly, but not exclusively, faunus women (due to his love of faunus.) He gets chastised by his team because of this sometimes though its usually only Notollya. Ironically enough though if a woman seriously flirted back with Sora he slightly regresses back into his reclusive nature as best no longer "the hunter" in the situation causing him to babble and such which makes him a "failed womanizer" of sorts lol. He also has a very strong sense of justice and fights for what he believes in (more on that later.)

Side note: His relationship with his family is much like the one he shares with JSMN. He comes off a tad distant but he's always looking out for his teammates when he can (especially Notollya)

Birthplace: Vacuo

Family: A single mother named Iris(a famous painter) and a younger sister named Cerula(doesn't like other women who like Sora)

Birthday: May 11

Story: Sora was born of the late Duke Aquamär and his wife Iris (whom is still living) and his little sister Cerula in the Vacuo region. Sora grew up in a somewhat gloomy but later normal environment; this being due to his mother Iris often sobbing late nights sometimes after Dukes passing but she never showed this to her children (Sora was aware however.) Sora's mother Iris is a Banker but also a professional Painter and is rather scatterbrained but really loves her family. His late father Duke was a Ship Captain and had his own ship, the Queen Cerulean (of which Sora's little sister received her namesake.) He was a hearty fellow and often talked in sailor jargon to his family. Sora doesn't really take after either of his parents, moreso his combat instructor, Lydia Umber
